Look at the picture, write the word in the grid. A new crossword every click, in four languages.
A crossword is spelling practice disguised as a puzzle. Because the clues here are pictures, children do not need to read a sentence first: they recognise the object, say its name and fit it into the grid. Where two words cross, a letter they are sure of helps them with the other word, so the grid checks their spelling as they go. Every click builds a brand-new crossword from 66 picture words, in the language of the page — Arabic grids even run from right to left.
