Eight cards per A4 page with dashed cut lines. Print on card if you can, cut out and play.
Flashcards are the simplest learning game there is: show, say, check. They work because they make children recall an answer instead of just reading it, which is what makes memory stick. The page makes three kinds of cards, eight per A4 sheet with dashed cut lines: picture words in the language of the page, numbers 1 to 20 with dots arranged like a ten frame, and times-table cards whose answer is printed upside down below a fold line, so it stays hidden until the card is turned.
Best for ages 3–10
The answer is printed upside down in the bottom half. Fold along the dotted middle line and the answer sits on the back.
Yes. Note the sheet number, switch the language and open the same number: same pictures, words in the new language.
Eight, about 9 × 5 cm each, with dashed cut lines.
