Numbers to 20, to 100 or to 1000 — circle the right word. A new sheet every click.
An even number can be shared into two equal groups, or put into pairs with nothing left over; an odd number always leaves one alone. Children first meet the idea with small numbers they can draw, then discover the shortcut: only the last digit matters. 3 458 is even because 8 is even. These sheets follow that path, from numbers up to 20 to three-digit numbers, with 24 numbers per sheet.
Best for ages 6–9
Zero is even: it can be split into two equal groups of zero, and it fits the pattern …, 2, 0, −2.
Numbers to 20 from about 6, to 100 from 7, and three-digit numbers from 8.
Yes, switch it on before printing: it lists every number with “even” or “odd”.
