Days of the week, months of the year, then a real calendar page to read. In four languages.
Time words are abstract for young children: “yesterday”, “next week” and “in March” only make sense once they know the order of days and months. These sheets start with short runs of the days of the week and the months of the year with one missing, then move to a real calendar page for a month of 2027 with questions about it: what day the 20th falls on, how many Fridays there are, what date comes a week later. The names change with the language, so the sheets also teach this vocabulary in French, Spanish or Arabic.
Best for ages 5–9
Sunday in English, Monday in French, Spanish and Arabic, as in most school calendars of those countries.
The common names يناير، فبراير، مارس… used in most Arab countries. In Morocco some are said differently (ماي، يوليوز، غشت…).
Yes, every calendar page is a real month of 2027, with the correct number of days.
