Home › Games › Keyboard Hero — Typing Game
Learn to type: home row, all the letters, then real words. QWERTY, AZERTY or Arabic keyboard.
Typing is now a basic school skill. Starting with the home row teaches children to keep their fingers in place instead of hunting for keys — accuracy first, speed comes later.
Typing has become a basic school skill, yet most children learn it by hunting for keys with one finger. Keyboard Hero starts where typing teachers start: the home row, where the fingers rest. Then come all the letters, then real words with a picture. An on-screen keyboard lights up the next key, so children learn to look at the screen rather than their hands. The keyboard follows the page language — QWERTY in English and Spanish, AZERTY in French, the Arabic layout in Arabic — and the score rewards accuracy before speed.
Best for ages 6–12
It follows the page language: QWERTY for English and Spanish, AZERTY for French, the standard Arabic layout for Arabic. Your computer must use the same layout.
Yes, tap the dashed box to open the on-screen keyboard — but a real keyboard is much better for learning to type.
No: é counts as e, and أ counts as ا, so children can focus on finding the keys.
